Man of the Woods, tüm vasatlığıyla bizi Justin Timberlake‘ten soğutmaya geldi. Albüm ilk duyurulduğunda heyecanımız zirvedeyken, yayınlanan her single ile birlikte “umarız o kadar da berbat olmaz” der olduk. Ama ne yazık ki o kadar da berbat bir albüm çıktı MOTW. Albümü baştan sona dinlemeye tahammül edebildiyseniz, şarkı sözlerinin ne kadar korkunç olduğuna da tanık olmuş olmalısınız. Evet, Timberlake zaten hiçbir zaman çok iyi bir söz yazarı olmadı ama bu albümde resmen sınırları zorlamış, dinlerken bizi adına utandıracak denli kötü şarkı sözlerine imza atmış. Hele ki albümde hepi topu üç dört ortalamanın üstünde şarkı varken bunların da şarkı sözleri tarafından baltalanması gerçekten üzücü olmuş.
